External hosting will never be trustworthy

It should be obvious by now for everyone that external hosting will never be trustworthy as a long-term solution. Especially image hosting. Once a hosting service is big enough it must streamline the content moderation to keep it running. If you want longevity for images on your site, host it on something you’re directly responsible for.
