Adrian Zenz, Jamestown Foundation and the 'free' press

Today I noticed an interesting article on the Associated Press website , not signed by a journalist per se (“by The Associated Press”), article that claims “China forces birth control on Uighurs to suppress population”. And I did a bit of information digging to find out who would write such an article.
While individual women have spoken out before about forced birth control, the practice is far more widespread and systematic than previously known, according to an AP investigation based on government statistics, state documents and interviews with 30 ex-detainees, family members and a former detention camp instructor. The campaign over the past four years in the far west region of Xinjiang is leading to what some experts are calling a form of “demographic genocide.”
The hundreds of millions of dollars the government pours into birth control has transformed Xinjiang from one of China’s fastest-growing regions to among its slowest in just a few years, according to new research obtained by The Associated Press in advance of publication by China scholar Adrian Zenz.
According to a new research by Adrian Zenz. Adrian Zenz is a Jamestown Foundation analyst , the same Jamestown Foundation that has Michael Hayden , the former director of the National Security Agency (yes, that one, the NSA) on its board . Let’s see who else is on the board:
Windows Phone 8.1 bootloader unlock and application deploy

About Windows Phone 8.1
Windows Phone 8.1 is the third generation of Microsoft’s Windows Phone mobile operating system, succeeding Windows Phone 8. Rolled out at Microsoft’s Build Conference in San Francisco, California, on April 2, 2014, it was released in final form to Windows Phone developers on April 14, 2014 and reached general availability on August 4, 2014. All Windows Phones running Windows Phone 8 can be upgraded to Windows Phone 8.1, with release dependent on carrier rollout dates. - Wikipedia
Why
You want to unlock the bootloader and enable root access if you want to deploy applications to your phone and you don’t want to upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile (the special case of Nokia Lumia 1020 because it loses access to several features of the PureView camera, like RAW photo exports; also it has been reported that the camera is ultra slow in WP 10).
Apple macOS 11 Big Sur (and how to download it)

Yesterday, Apple announced new versions of all their operating systems, including macOS 11 named “Big Sur”, which they describe as the biggest change to macOS since Mac OS X. Apple also announced the widely-expected macOS on ARM (or Apple Silicon as they’ve branded their chips). Apple will enable you to ship Universal binaries containing both ARM and Intel code (Universal 2 format), and support for Apple Silicon should simply require a recompile in Xcode for most apps if your third party libraries have been updated. They will also ship Rosetta 2, an emulator layer that allows you to run old applications on new Macs.
Release date
The release date for macOS 11 Big Sur is “Coming this fall” – link
Being Alone
This is the secret of loneliness.
And nobody talks about it—this mysterious, shadow of loneliness that lingers even when you’re “doing everything right.” The secret is that “everything” is not quite everything.
You can’t address your own experience of loneliness just by finding connection with the people around you. You need to find connection with yourself.
Sure. Connect with your neighbors, your friends, your communities. Go to that meetup. Volunteer. Have meaningful conversations. Find love. Do it all.
